Yan Shuo is an UX/UI designer, Industrial designer, and also a Ph.D student in Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Currently her research is focus on Digital Performance. Digital media has been increasingly incorporated into live theater and dance, and new forms of interactive performance have emerged in participatory installations. Most of her work is to design 3D virual environment and prototypical choreography. Over the years she has done some interesting design programs. Such as Power Plate(Stuttgart,Germany), Avatar UI, Foco table(Korea), and Safe+C cable car among others. Also, she has one year internship at Intel labs as an UI/UX designer. She joined in the lab “Digital Performance” with Prof. Gangyi Ding, who is chief designer of the Digital Performance System in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony.
