We have openings for paid urops for MIT undergraduates, both during the academic year as well as during the summers. The list of current openings can be found on the UROP openings page.
We encourage non-MIT undergrads to visit for the summer, but will have to find their own funding. Women and minority undergrads may want to apply for funding to visit for a summer through Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program.
Potential Graduate Students
Graduate applications are processed once per year and are due in December. We have open slots for potential graduate students. Graduate students are fully funded, both tuition and monthly stipends. For more information on the application process, please consult Fluid admissions webpage. If interested in visiting, please send email to pattie@media with more information about yourself (short resume and interests).
Visiting Graduate Students and Postdocs
We have openings for visiting graduate students and postdocs. Internships are unpaid (you must have your own funding) and must last at least 6 months. Please note that visiting students (or their home institution) have to pay a registration fee of $1500 for fall term (September-January), $1200 for spring term (February-May) and $900 for summer term (June-August).
If interested, please send your resume and a statement of your research interests to pattie@media.
